Carole has more than 25 years experience as a human resources professional with broad experience in change management, human resource policy development, performance management, disciplinary processes and remuneration. She has worked at both management and advisory levels across a number of public sector organisations as an employee and as a contracted resource.
Carole has specialist skills in employee relations and has a deep understanding of the legislative and legal framework of the employment environment. This has involved developing bargaining strategies, liaising with unions, and being the lead advocate for collective agreement negotiations. Carole also has extensive experience in managing personal grievances and disputes and has represented employers in the Mediation Service. Carole’s approach is to keep it simple - looking for areas of mutual benefit in order to make changes while delivering on organisational goals and objectives.
Carole enjoys people - which is just as well given her profession - and balances her professional roles with the taxi-driving demands of family life. Carole can be relied upon to laugh at other people’s jokes but has never perfected the art of comic delivery herself.
